Radiation protection training for practitioners and persons involved in the practical aspects of medical-radiological procedures in accordance with Section 9 Paragraph 2 MedStrSchV - Continuing Education
This training is intended for the following professional groups:
- Physicians
- Radiology technologists
- X-ray assistants
- medical-technical specialists
According to § 9 MedStrSchV, practitioners and persons involved in the practical aspects of medical-radiological procedures must participate in training events lasting at least four hours at intervals of five years. The first interval starts with the year following the start of employment.
Participation in training courses for radiation protection officers in the relevant area in accordance with Section 82 of the General Radiation Protection Ordinance is also possible.

The course participant can repeat what they have learned (see course content) and apply it in practice.

Practitioners and people involved in the practical aspects of medical-radiological procedures of X-rays, x-rays, interventional procedures, CT scans and CT interventions, dental X-rays.

Completed training for applying specialists and persons involved in the practical aspects of medical-radiological procedures in accordance with § 9 para. 2 MedStrSchV or
Successfully completed training as a radiation protection officer, or
Start of activity (as an applying specialist or person involved in the practical aspects of medical-radiological procedures) before February 6, 2018

The prices listed are valid until 15.01.2027 and exclude statutory VAT. They include access to eLearning for one person and - (if applicable) electronic scripts and issuance of the confirmation of participation. One lesson corresponds to 45 minutes.
The Seibersdorf Academy reserves the right to make changes to the course program as well as printing errors. In the event of changes, participants will be notified promptly and in an appropriate manner.
