SATDOS — Revolutionary radiation measurement in orbit
Our SATDOS reference dosimeter platform is a compact, highly innovative payload for nanosatellites such as CubeSats, which records and quantifies the radiation environment in space in real time. SATDOS was developed by Seibersdorf Labor and successfully operated in orbit — for example on board the PRETTY CubeSat, where it provided valuable radiation data. This data strengthens mission planning, system hardening and the understanding of space weather for robust satellite systems.
SATDOS has created a great deal of attention in the space community and forms the basis for the founding of Confident Space Technology GmbH — with the aim of further developing this technology commercially and making it available globally.
