About the course offerings

Radiation protection training for practitioners and the individuals involved in the practical aspects of medical radiological procedures

As a practitioner or as a person involved in the practical aspects of medical radiological procedures, you are responsible for the safety of patients. The Seibersdorf Academy offers you recognized radiation protection training and advanced training in accordance with Section 9 Paragraph 2 MedStrSchV — specifically tailored to the respective application (x-ray diagnostics, fluoroscopy, interventional procedures, CT exams/CT interventions and dental x-ray diagnostics.) Our courses not only provide theoretical knowledge but also place a strong focus on radiation protection in everyday working life through practice-oriented content. 

Advanced training courses can be completed flexibly (with self-study videos) as eLearning or as an online event.

to carry out medical examinations in accordance with the Radiation Protection Act

In Austria, to be authorized by the BM BMASGPK, physicians require legally recognized training and regular continuing education in accordance with Section 96 AllgStrSchV 2020.
