1. Definitions

This privacy statement is based on the definitions used in the GDPR (Article 4 GDPR).

The following definitions are used in this privacy statement:

“Controller” means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of processing personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its nomination may be provided for by Union or Member State law.

“Recipient” means a natural or legal person, authority, agency or other body to which personal data is disclosed, regardless of whether it is a third party or not. However, public authorities that may receive personal data as part of a specific investigation mandate under Union or Member State law are not considered recipients; the processing of such data by those authorities is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection rules in accordance with the purposes of the processing.

“Third party” means a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, controller, processor and persons who, under the direct responsibility of the controller or processor, are authorized to process personal data.

“Consent” by the data subject means any voluntary, informed and unambiguous statement of intent in the specific case, in the form of a statement or other clear affirmative act by which the data subject indicates that he or she agrees to the processing of personal data concerning him or her.

3.1 Web site

3.1.1 Purpose of data processing

Seibersdorf Labor GmbH will collect the following information (see point 3.1.2) during your visit to the websites. We process this data for the following purposes:

  • ensuring a smooth connection to the website;
  • ensuring a comfortable use of our website;
  • evaluation of system security and stability;
  • for administrative and statistical purposes;

in order to be able to optimize the offers on the Seibersdorf Labor GmbH website.

3.1.2 Scope of processing of personal data

The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted:

  • name and URL of the retrieved file;
  • user data (e.g. times of access, websites visited, interest in content);

The legal basis for this data processing is Article 6 (1f) of the GDPR.
Our legitimate interest results from the listed purposes for processing.
In no case do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you.

We use cookies and analysis services when you visit our website. You can find more detailed explanations of this under sections 4 and 5 of this privacy policy.

3.2 Contact form

We offer you the opportunity to contact us using a form provided on our website.


3.2.1 Purpose of data processing

The data is processed for the purpose of contacting us, in particular so that we can process your inquiries quickly and efficiently.

3.2.2 Scope of processing of personal data

It is up to you to decide whether you want to enter further data as part of the contact form.

3.2.3 Legal basis for processing personal data

The legal basis for data processing is Article 6 (1a) of the GDPR based on your voluntary consent.

3.2.4 Duration of storage

The personal data collected by us for using the contact form will be deleted after the request you have made has been completed.

3.2.5 Recipients of the data

Seibersdorf Labor GmbH is the recipient of the data.

3.3 Registrations/orders

You can register as a customer for future registrations/orders via our website.

Registration has the advantage for you that in the event of a future order/login, you can log in directly to our website with your email address and password without having to enter your contact details again.

If you are a registration manager, i.e. you do not place orders yourself but do so for someone else, we ask you to state this as well. If personal data is requested when ordering (e.g. when booking courses), you must confirm that you have obtained consent to the use of the personal data of the person whose data is being used.

3.3.1 Purpose of data processing

This data is collected

  • to be able to identify you as our customer;
  • to be able to process, fulfill and process your registration/order;
  • to correspond with you;
  • for accounting;
  • to prepare course certificates or attendance certificates, when registering for courses or conferences organized by Seibersdorf Labor GmbH.
  • to process any liability claims that may exist, as well as to assert any claims against you;
  • to ensure the technical administration of our website;
  • to manage our customer data.

 

3.3.2 Scope of processing of personal data

Your personal data is entered into an input mask and transmitted to us and stored. When you register or order via our website, we first collect the following data:

  • title, first name, last name;
  • a valid email address;
  • address;
  • Date of birth, place of birth (to issue course certificates or attendance certificates).

 

3.3.3 Legal basis for processing personal data

Data processing is carried out on the basis of your order and/or registration and is required in accordance with Article 6 (1b) of the GDPR to process your order and for the mutual fulfilment of obligations under the sales contract or work contract.

3.3.4 Storage period

The personal data collected by us to process your order will be stored until the legal storage obligation expires and then deleted, unless we are required to store it for a longer period of time in accordance with Article 6 (1c) of the GDPR on the basis of a legal basis or you have consented to further storage in accordance with Article 6 (1a) of the GDPR.

3.3.5 Recipients of data

If it is necessary to deliver ordered goods, we will pass on your data to the shipping company responsible for delivery in order to fulfill the contract in accordance with Article 6 (1b) of the GDPR.

3.4 Online meetings/online events

3.4.1 Purpose of data processing

We use third-party applications to conduct online meetings, screen sharing, video conferences and/or webinars (hereinafter: “online meetings).

3.4.4 Legal basis for processing personal data

The legal basis for data processing when conducting online meetings is Art. 6 (1) lit b GDPR, insofar as the meetings are necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or to carry out pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject. If there is no contractual relationship, the legal basis is the legitimate interest Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The legitimate interest here is the effective conduct of online meetings and the associated communication on the part of the person responsible. Should recordings be made as part of the meeting, the consent of the persons concerned will be obtained beforehand in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.


3.4.5 Storage period

We will delete your personal data as soon as the purpose of storage and processing no longer applies, provided that there is no legal obligation to store it for a longer period of time.


3.4.6 Recipients of data

To conduct an online meeting, we used one or more of the service providers listed in point 3.4.3 as contract processors. Personal data that is processed in connection with participation in online meetings is generally not passed on to third parties. The processing of personal data of participants in online meetings takes place exclusively in data centers in the European Union. There is generally no transfer of personal data to a third country. Should circumstances arise that require a data transfer, we have concluded an order processing contract with the respective service provider, including the EU standard contractual clauses.

3.5 Newsletters

When you sign up for our newsletter, you submit personal data and give us the right to contact you by e-mail. We use the data stored as part of the subscription to the newsletter exclusively for our newsletter and do not pass it on.

If you unsubscribe from the newsletter — you will find the link at the bottom of every newsletter — we will delete all data that was saved when you signed up for the newsletter.

4. Use of cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone, etc.). 6. Analysis and tracking tools

The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Article 6 (1f) of the GDPR. With the tracking measures we use, we want to ensure that our website is designed and continuously optimized. We use tracking measures to statistically record and evaluate the use of our website and to optimize our offer for you.

We use Matomo (web analytics platform) matomo.org for the purpose of designing and continuously optimizing our pages in line with requirements. In this context, pseudonymized user profiles are created and cookies (see below) are used.

8. Data security
