The History of the Doping-Control Laboratory
During the years 1999 – 2001 a laboratory for analysis of doping control samples was established in Seibersdorf as a common initiative of our company, the Austrian Anti-Doping Committee, the Austrian Olympic Committee and the Ministry for Public Affairs and Sports.
After a successful testing phase accreditation was obtained in 2002 from the International Olympic Comité (IOC). 2004 the agenda of the IOC was transferred to the World-Anti-Doping-Agency (WADA).
Our laboratory is one of only 35 around the world accredited by WADA. Our customers are various National-Anti-Doping Organizations (NADOs) and international sports federations as well.
