Accreditation Details of the Doping-Control Laboratory
To be legitimated for doping control analyses WADA accreditation is a necessity. In addition an accreditation as a testing laboratory according to EN ISO/IEC 17025, a standard which stipulates an adequate quality assurance system for the analytical work, is required.
After a successful testing phase accreditation was obtained in 2002 from the International Olympic Comité (IOC). 2004 the agenda of the IOC was transferred to the World-Anti-Doping-Agency (WADA).
