updated: 15th January, 2021
After acceptance of their paper for oral presentation, poster, or data workshop, authors are invited to provide a final proceedings paper addressing the comments of the reviewers. The comments will be available on the RADOCS website.
The format of the final paper is the standard IEEE Transactions format. Guidelines for preparing the paper are provided here: Preparation of Papers for IEEE TRANSACTIONS and JOURNALS.
Authors shall post their final papers before September 8, 2021, midnight (Vienna time) on the RADOCS website. Papers will be published in the conference proceedings, and will be made available electronically to all conference attendees after the conference. They will also be available on IEEE Xplore.
All papers, except data workshop papers, are eligible for submission to IEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science, and will be subjected to the standard IEEE TNS peer review process. To submit your RADECS paper for possible publication in TNS, you must upload your paper to the TNS Manuscript Central web site at http://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/tns-ieee/ before October 8, 2021. If your submission is accepted, it will be published in a RADECS 2021 special issue of TNS and to avoid duplication it will not be published in the RADECS Proceedings (though a link to the IEEE TNS published papers will be provided). RADECS Proceeding will be published after the TNS RADECS 2021 special issue. The conference organizers are working flat out to publish all contributions, especially those from the data workshop, as soon as possible!
Authors accepted for oral shall prepare a presentation using Microsoft PowerPoint in wide screen format. In case of online participation, presentations have to be provided pre-recorded using Microsoft PowerPoint including audio and video of the presenter. If video recording of the presenter is not possible, a photo of the presenter within the presentation shall be provided. Authors should upload their presentation to the RADOCS website before September 6, 2021, midnight (Vienna time).
The conference organizers are also considering the possibility of live online-presentations, but these do not replace the sending of a pre-recorded presentation. In the case of live online-presentations, technical support will be provided as needed in a timely manner prior to the conference. The time allocated for each presentation is 12 minutes. Presentations will be available for preview and update during the conference in the A/V preview room no later than the day before they are scheduled to be presented. Check the final conference brochure for the A/V preview room opening hours. The session chairs will contact the authors before the session to schedule a brief meeting at the presentation stage. This will be an opportunity to review procedures and equipment for the talk.
Authors accepted for posters in the technical sessions or data workshop shall prepare a poster. The useable area is A0 format in portrait orientation (height: 1189mm, width: 841mm). Posters must be mounted to the poster board with stickers/double sided tape. Stickers will be provided at the conference in the poster area. Posters shall be assembled by 12:00 noon on Tuesday of the conference week.
All poster shall be left in place until the end of the conference. Posters must be removed by 10:00 AM Friday.
In case of online participation, 5 min presentations have to be provided pre-recorded using Microsoft PowerPoint including audio and video of the presenter. If video recording of the presenter is not possible, a photo of the presenter within the presentation shall be provided.
