Seibersdorf Laboratories take part in RIFM science program

The Research Institute for Fragrance Materials (RIFM) is conducting a respiratory science program which aims to provide assurance of fragrance inhalation safety for consumers.
Seibersdorf Laboratories are taking part in the comprehensive 5-year research plan which addresses the critical questions regarding fragrance impact on airway hypersensitivity.
Seibersdorf Laboratories carries out the Respiratory Cellular Cytokine Profiling which consists of an immunocompetent 3-dimensional in vitro model containing the 3 main cell types present at the air-tissue interface in the deep lung. It will provide valuable information for characterizing new and existing fragrance materials for potential sensitizing capability.
